“Happy Easter Everyone!”
Easter is by far my favorite holiday. I have heard and told the story of the life, death and resurrection of Jesus many times. May favorite part, however, is when the women go to the tomb and find out that Jesus had been risen from the dead. They were faithful to Him in life, during his death and after.
my approach
To draw this, I wanted it to be very impressionistic. I think that by using the Copic Ciao and Sketch markers I was able to get the look I was going for. I also challenged myself because I didn't use a pencil. I just dug right into the drawing using the markers.
